Solar Sales Position

Luminalt, San Francisco’s leading solar design-build firm, is looking for a residential solar salesperson. This position requires an ethical and clear communicator who wants to work in a fast paced collaborative environment. The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have a proven track record of closing sales
  • Be able to qualify and disqualify opportunities effectively
  • Visit homes and conduct solar site analyses
  • Provide rough system design and craft proposals for potential customers using information from the solar site analysis
  • Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar and proactively respond to questions regarding solar, proposals, financing alternatives, and contract agreements
  • Cultivate relationships and generate referrals
  • Be highly motivated, ethical and strive for self-improvement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide clients with superior customer service

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills, especially Excel, Word, SketchUp and Salesforce or other CRM tool
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail oriented analytical thinker with strong math skills
  • Ability to calculate and communicate financial benefits of solar
  • Have a vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Pass the Contractors State License Board’s Home Improvement Sales background check
