Job Brief: The Warehouse Associate I will work under the supervision of the Warehouse Associate II position and report directly to the VP of Operations. The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for ensuring day to day tasks are performed in accordance with Luminalt processes with the core function of ensuring our installation crew is set up for success with materials and job preparation. This is a fast moving position that requires someone who is flexible and a team player.
Primary functions of the job:
● Deliver materials to jobsites as needed throughout the Bay Area
● Assist field teams on jobsites with panels, ladders, powerwalls etc.
● Perform work in accordance with Luminalt’s policies and procedures
● Warehouse upkeep. Stock, assemble and organize parts, tools and any other items that are received by the warehouse.
● Sweep, empty garbage and compost. Address facilities issues as directed
● Receiving and shipping materials physically and following administrative processes to ensure inventory is properly doscumented
● Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage and completeness
● Work cross functionally with other departments
● Forklift – we will certify the right person
● Identify items low in stock or needed
● Daily material pulls in accordance with BOM
● Refill/restock part kits for next day installations
● Daily assist crew with morning loadout and deliveries as necessary. Work to reduce deliveries to jobsite
● Assist in pre-fabricating job materials including cutting rails, roof blocks, etc ● Assist with vehicle maintenance, scheduling and getting vehicles to and from shop quickly and with minimal impact on crew.
Successful candidates must meet the following Requirements:
● Driving is a requirement for this position. Our insurance requires a valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record and that the driver is 23 years of age and has minimum 3 years driving experience.
