Jeanine Cotter accepted an award for Luminalt at California Interfaith Power & Light’s 4th Annual Energy Oscars, held this year at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. The event honors congregations that have made a commitment to sustainability in the past year. California Interfaith Power & Light is a San Francisco faith-based organization that helps educate congregations on the theological basis for eco-stewardship and assists them in implementing programs to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and become more energy efficient – thereby helping to mitigate the harmful effects of global warming.
