Norman Ferrer, a solar installer at Luminalt since last August, will be riding this Sunday, June 24th to raise money for cancer research with Livestrong. Norm will be riding in Davis, California, but there’s a twist – he’ll complete the entire 65-mile course on his fixie.
Norm says:
My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, but we are very hopeful that she is going to fight hard to beat this thing. In her honor I am participating in the Lance Armstrong Live Strong charity cancer bike ride. I want to do the ride to shed some positive light on something that affects so many people.
I will be riding my track bike 65 miles through Davis this Sunday, June 24. What I am asking of you is to donate what you can towards this amazing charity. To show my appreciation I will be raffling off a couple great prizes to those who donate.
Luminalt and Norm’s co-workers have already committed to supporting Norm as he raises money to support cancer research.
You can help Norm out by donating and spreading the word to friends and family.
Norm will be raffling off some fantastic prizes – everyone who donates will be entered into the drawing.
- 1) $25 gift card to Papalote taqueria
- 2) Gift card for a facial at Karma Wellness boutique.
- 3) A small plant terrarium made by Norm!
