Jeanine Cotter, the President and CEO of Luminalt was invited to deliver the keynote speech on clean energy at the Leadership San Francisco graduation this week. Leadership San Francisco (LSF) is an organization dedicated to educating and developing community trustees who will make a significant contribution to strengthen and transform our community.

As noted by Joshua Arce, Executive Director of Brightline Defense Project, “As one of the most dynamic and inspiring leaders in the clean technology sector, Luminalt’s Jeanine Cotter is the perfect person to describe San Francisco’s approach to supporting solar power and to engage Leadership SF participants about one of the City’s most successful efforts to address climate change head on. Leadership SF is a program designed to promote community trusteeship and civic engagement to help steward society to a better place, and Jeanine provides one of the best examples of community trusteeship imaginable.”

Jeanine is a classic example of a community trustee. She is the CEO of the only woman-owned solar company in San Francisco. An expert in her field, Jeanine holds Luminalt’s C-46 solar license and is a Certified Green Building Professional through Build it Green. Under her leadership, Luminalt became the first solar installer in San Francisco to become workforce development certified the GoSolarSF solar incentive program. She was honored for her commitment to serving the community by the California State Legislature and by Asian Neighborhood Design earlier this month

The team at Luminalt is proud to have such an effective “thought-leader” in the realm of solar power and technology at the helm of our company.
