Great news for San Franciscans!

You can now get a check for up to $50,000 when your business, nonprofit or multi-unit residential building installs a Luminalt solar electric system because the GoSolarSF program just launched.

So how exactly does this work?

The incentive amount is based on the size of the system you install. Luminalt will complete all necessary paperwork. Once the rebate is reserved, you have 6 months to complete the installation before the rebate expires. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission will send out the check after your system is connected to the grid.

How long is this available?

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until funding runs out. While we don’t know how long the funding will last, we do know that there is a backlog of applications going back to April 1, 2013. Now that the program is live, we are working hard to secure reservations for all our current clients.

Do you want us to take the rebate off the top?

If you would like, we can deduct your rebate from the cost of your solar. We’ll still fill out all the paperwork for you. The only difference is that we would wait to install your system until the SFPUC confirms your reservation.
