We work on roofs and with electrical panels so following strict safety protocols for our colleagues and clients’ safety has always been a critical part of our operations. When the pandemic began, Luminalt adopted a COVID-19 safety plan which all employees follow. The plan impacts every aspect of our operations and incorporates requirements of the local Health Order, Centers for Disease Control and OSHA guidelines. As we learn more about how the virus is transmitted, we revise the safety plan.
This provides a brief overview of how our COVID-19 safety plan changed our operations.
Remote Site Visits for Solar and Battery Storage Proposals
Before the shutdown, Luminalt did on-site consultations. We now offer phone and Zoom appointments. If you are interested in a proposal, please click here (link to Request a Quote).
Project Support and Operations Working From Home
Our project administration, design and engineering, sales and accounting teams are working remotely. They may be reached at their direct dial phone numbers, on email or through the main Luminalt office line 415-641-4000. We have limited administrative support in the office. Anyone who enters the office must wear a mask and sign in to support contract tracing.
Build Team in the Field
We are currently installing systems. Since restarting our projects, we have adopted certain measures to keep our installers as safe as possible, including frequent hand washing and sterilization of common touch points (such as door handles, ladders, and tools), contact tracing, separated cohort crews, and social distancing and mask wearing whenever possible.
We continue to conduct trainings and make modifications to our policies as we learn more about the transmission of COVID-19. We continue to be committed to implementing and adhering to strict social distancing and safety standards to keep our colleagues, families, clients, and community as safe as possible.
