Expected Work Time: M-F Full Time 9:00am – 5:30pm 

Compensation: Starting pay range $20-24/hr. DOE competitive pay and benefits

Job Brief: The Warehouse Associate will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and perform duties necessary to maintain Luminalt’s warehouse and vehicle fleet with the core function of ensuring our installation crew is set up for success with materials and job preparation. This is a fast moving position that requires someone who is flexible and a team player. Unexpected things arise and you will need to reprioritize on the fly.

Primary functions of the job:

  • Perform work in accordance with Luminalt’s policies and procedures under direction of the Warehouse Manager
  • Warehouse upkeep. Stock, assemble and organize parts, tools and any other items that are received by the warehouse. Sweep, empty garbage and compost. Address facilities issues as directed
  • Receiving and shipping both physical and administrative. Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage and completeness
  • Work cross functionally with other departments
  • Forklift – we will certify the right person
  • Flag items for reorder to Warehouse Manager
  • Daily material pulls and part kits for next day installations
  • Daily assist crew with morning loadout and deliveries as necessary. Work to reduce deliveries to jobsite
  • Assist field teams on jobsites with panels, ladders etc.  
  • Assist in pre-fabricating job materials including cutting rails, roof blocks, etc
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance, scheduling and getting vehicles to and from shop quickly and with minimal impact on crew.

Successful candidates must meet the following Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience (Preferred)
  • Good communication skills, friendly demeanor
  • Our insurance requires the driver to be 23 years of age and have minimum 3 years driving experience.
  • Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record. 
  • Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong interest in working in the solar industry in San Francisco
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Basic arithmetic math skills
  • Exceptional time management skills including a sense of urgency
